Get to know Naturopathic Physician Dr. Midori Nishida, who serves the population of Santa Monica, California. Dr. Nishida completed her undergraduate degree from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and minor in Chemistry in 1997. She then attended the National College of Naturopathic Medicine where she graduated with her Naturopathic Doctor Degree in 2001, giving her nearly two decades of experience in her field. She also attended and graduated from the Oregon School of Massage. After obtaining her Naturopathic Doctor degree she completed the Clearsight Clairvoyant Training Program. To stay up to date in her profession, Dr. Nishida remains a professional member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and The California Naturopathic Doctors Association. Dr. Nishida currently practices within her private practice The Essence: Naturopathic Medical & Healing Center. Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care profession, emphasizing prevention, treatment, and optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and substances that encourage individuals’ inherent self-healing process. The practice of naturopathic medicine includes modern and traditional, scientific, and empirical methods.
