Dr. Pearlman is a dedicated endocrinologist who sees patients at her private practice, Pearlman Endocrinology LLC, in Boca Raton, Florida. She can also be found on staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

Boca Raton Regional Hospital is a 400-bed, not-for-profit health care organization located in Boca Raton, Florida. It was established in 1967 and provides patient care in areas such as cardiovascular, oncology, women’s health, orthopedics, emergency medicine, and neurosciences.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Pearlman graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996. She then went on to perform her internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in 2001. Wanting to further her training, she completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes & metabolism at Stony Brook University Hospital in 2004 and 2006, respectively. 

Licensed to practice medicine in Florida, the doctor is board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes & metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Endocrinology is a branch of biology and medicine dealing with the endocrine system, its diseases, and its specific secretions known as hormones. Endocrinologists have the training to diagnose and treat hormone imbalances and problems by helping to restore the normal balance of hormones in the body. The common diseases and disorders of the endocrine system that endocrinologists deal with include diabetes mellitus, as well as adrenal, pituitary, and thyroid disorders, among others.
