Educated in India, Dr. Prasad graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Bangalore Medical College in 1993. He then relocated to the United States, performing his internship in internal medicine and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York Medical College in 2003 and 2006, respectively.
Trained in interventional spine & pain management, the doctor is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The mission of the ABPMR is to serve the public by improving the quality of patient care in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This is accomplished through a process of certification and continuing certification that fosters excellence and encourages continuous learning.
