Dr. Mishaan is known to his patients and his staff as kind, caring and genuinely concerned about people. He steps out of his role as a clinician to really know you and your needs. His technical skill and his keen eye for aesthetics set him apart from other dental healthcare professionals. Dr. Mishaan attended New York University and then went on to the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. Before opening the Dental Aesthetics and Facial Group practice, Dr. Mishaan’s experience included working in high-end dental offices on Central Park South and Madison Avenue. He saw the need for a practice in the Fashion District, where he could offer a full range of services with a focus on the convenience of the patient. He has assembled a team of professionals to provide dentistry, plastic surgery, and orthodontics—all in the same location. Because preventitive care is so vital, Dr. Mishaan wants you to feel at ease in the office, and he and his staff make every effort to ensure your comfort. Dr. Mishaan takes care of your regular preventative care, such as monitoring the health of your teeth, doing oral cancer exams, and taking x–rays. He helps you understand why regular cleanings, flossing and other preventative measures, such as using fluoride, should fit into your regular healthcare program. In his efforts to know the whole patient, Dr. Mishaan performs a comprehensive review of your medical history. Sometimes, seemingly unrelated illnesses or medications can directly, or indirectly, impact your dental health, so he takes the time to review your history carefully. You will be aware of Dr. Mishaan’s professional and gentle approach throughout your visit.
