After spending a year honing his skills as a primary care physician at Kommalapati Nursing Home in Ongole, he moved to the United States, where he completed his residency in internal medicine at New York’s Montefiore North Medical Center in the Bronx. 

Driven to constantly improve his knowledge in the area of internal medicine, Dr. Mannam frequently attends educational conferences and professional society meetings to learn about the latest advancements in the field and offer these techniques and technologies to patients.

An active member of the American Medical Association, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Committing himself to provide personalized medical care to his community, Dr. Mannam speaks several languages fluently, including English, Spanish, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. He takes his time with each patient, never rushing anyone, and answering questions thoroughly.
