Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Jagadish Puppala, who serves patients in Mineral Wells, Texas. 

Dr. Puppala is a cardiologist serving Mineral Wells and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with Palo Pinto General Hospital, they are dedicated to promoting optimal health and the well-being of the entire community by providing patient and family-centered, quality healthcare in a respectful and safe environment. He holds expertise in echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo, and nuclear cardiology.

In regards to his education, Dr. Puppala earned his Medical Degree from Siddhartha Medical College University of Health Sciences in 1992. He went on to complete a residency at Penn State Geisinger Medical Center. Furthering his training, he completed his cardiovascular disease with the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and the Yale University School of Medicine. 

Additionally, Dr. Puppala is board certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

To stay up to date in his field, he remains a professional member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, Texas Medical Association, American Society of Echocardiology, and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology 

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart as well as some parts of the circulatory system. As a cardiologist, Dr. Puppala is specialized in nuclear cardiology which uses procedures and treatments that apply molecular imaging and molecular therapy.
