Get to know General & Cosmetic Dentist Dr. George Harouni, who serves patients in Henderson, Nevada.

Dr. Harouni is a general and cosmetic dentist whose dedication and commitment to the art of dentistry are clear in the work he produces. Creating smiles is his passion!

Dr. Harouni is currently serving patients’ dental needs at his private dental practice in Henderson, Nevada. His practice is unique in that its two main objectives are to provide the highest quality dental care available and to provide what Dr. Harouni calls “Five Star” service. He and his staff have established a non-compromising attitude when it comes to treatment and patient care. They combine artistry, advanced techniques, and cutting-edge materials to take a patient’s smile and health to a higher level.

At the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Harouni majored in molecular genetics and microbiology. In 1998, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he was one of the youngest graduates to ever earn his doctorate degree. In addition, he graduated among the top two percent of his class, earning an exclusive membership in the OKU Honor Society.

Among his other achievements, Dr. Harouni was the recipient of many prestigious awards for excellent leadership skills and abilities. Most significantly, he was awarded the “Rex Ingram Award” for Best Clinical Operative Dentistry from 1994 to 1998. Dr. Harouni is committed to keeping himself up to date with the ongoing changes in dentistry by continually attending seminars and continuing education programs in various fields of dentistry (mostly in the area of cosmetic dentistry). 

Dr. Harouni is board certified in California and Nevada. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, and the Southern Nevada Dental Society. Since 2001, he has served on the Executive Committee of the Southern Nevada Dental Society.

Throughout his career, Dr. Harouni has been committed both to learning and giving to the community. He particularly enjoys partaking in the Southern Nevada “Give Kids a Smile” Program, providing dental care to underprivileged children at no cost. Dr. Harouni is a certified Invisalign® provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dr. Harouni has loved dentistry his whole life. As a general and cosmetic dentist, he prevents and treats oral diseases, as well as maintains the teeth and gums by making sure they remain aesthetically beautiful.
