Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Jack R. Gould, who serves patients in New Jersey.

Dr. Gould is a seasoned obstetrician-gynecologist on the team of talented providers at Ocean Obstetric & Gynecologic Associates in Ocean and Howell, New Jersey. They have been a trusted source of comprehensive care and support for women in every stage of life since 1996.

With a team of board-certified doctors that are leaders in their field, patients at Ocean Obstetric & Gynecologic Associates receive the highest quality services from experienced medical practitioners, with both male and female availability. The doctors and staff are all committed to delivering friendly and personalized care using the latest advancements in medicine and information technology, and address everybody’s unique needs in a warm and caring environment where patients never feel rushed. Some of the services offered at the practice include routine screenings and problem-based gynecology, female incontinence, urodynamic testing, minimally invasive pelvic reconstruction, advanced laparoscopy surgery, vaginal rejuvenation, pelvic support therapy, and endometrial ablation.

Outside of his practice at Ocean Obstetric & Gynecologic Associates, Dr. Gould is a robotic surgeon at Monmouth Medical Center. He has served as the Director of Gynecologic Robotic Surgery Resident Education at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey, since 2010.

Very active in the medical community, he is a proud member of the New Jersey Laborist Group at Monmouth Medical Center and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Pertaining to his educational background, Dr. Gould graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Rutgers University in 1983. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford in 1989, and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch in 1994. 

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) since 1998, he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics and gynecology. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health. 

When he is not working, Dr. Gould enjoys astronomy, computers, and exploring the open road.
