  • Why do I have left arm pain?

It seems you have a rotator cuff tear. Thank you, Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • I have pain that is spreading?

Hip arthritis can cause groin pain. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • What are possible knee injuries I could be facing due to slamming knee into cement curb? Should I be concerned?

There are a lot of questions and I believe you need imaging and a very good exam. I am sorry I cannot offer much more. You are currently on gabapentin, so your current condition might be multifactorial. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • I felt something snap in my arm?

Most likely you had a tendons rub and that created inflammation and irritated your median nerve. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Shoulder question?

Popping of joints and shoulders are normal, popping with pain should be evaluated. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Is walking good for osteoporosis?

Yes, walking is good for osteoporosis as well as some weight training/resistance. You can use your body weight to do some simple exercises, squats, toe lifts, chair lifts push-ups on your knees. You can use resistance bands, which is what the astronauts use in space to fight osteoporosis. You can also use lifting weights in a slow, controlled fashion. Good luck! Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • I'm having tibia pain?

You should be evaluated. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • I fell and my head snapped back?

Sounds like you experienced a “stinger.” Hopefully that will go away and not continue to linger. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Benign Bone Tumors and Homeopathic GH Spray (Sublingual)?

I do not believe this is no longer an issue, nor do I believe the supplement created the scenario. I believe the spray and ingredient list included offered amino acids and hormonal analogs that were able to add in some muscle development and potential recovery. Understanding the literature relating to these substances is not well studied and more discussed as nutraceuticals. If you have concerns about your bone cysts, a repeat image or CT scan of the limb will provide information. If they are that concerning to you, they can always be treated with curettage and bone grafting. Good luck, Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Pain on left side?

There are many possibilities that could create that issue for you. It could be a soft tissue problem like bursitis or a tight ITband, potentially hip arthritis, as well as an issue from your lower spine. A more thorough evaluation and history could provide a better understanding. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Shoulder pain?

Aleve twice a day and start some gentle shoulder exercises. Look online at the AAOS shoulder Ortho info now for exercises. If no improvement in two weeks, please see orthopedics. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Don’t know what this means?

Best to come in and be evaluated. You may have had some form of nerve injury, which may take a long time to recover, if at all. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Possible old fracture in finger?

Yes, you need to be evaluated. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Thigh pain?

I think you should be evaluated. It is hard to tell by the pictures that you sent. I believe there are a few things that could cause that to happen. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Pinched nerve?

I believe that Keloiding can happen, but it shouldn’t happen around the nerve as that occurs at a different tissue level. There are some things that can be done to improve the situation. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Dislocated knee cap?

I would recommend seeing an orthopedic surgeon. You should be evaluated. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

It seems you might have laxity. I would be careful and see an orthopedic surgeon to asses your joints to become better educated about your condition. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Thigh pain?

I would recommend an evaluation. You may have a back issue, or your hip arthritis has progressed to a point that it has become a problem. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • Plantar fasciitis?

There are many stretches to do online as well as wearing a night splint. Good luck, Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

  • If I am in rehab for back injury, what would happen if I sprain or injured my left knee, will my rehab be paused?
