Dr. Wardle, an experienced podiatrist, specializes in ankle fractures, bunion surgery, custom orthotic therapy, diabetic evaluations and care, foot fractures, hammer toe repair, plantar fasciitis, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports injuries, ulcer evaluations and care, and vascular assessments. He is one of the founding partners of Ankle & Foot of Edmonds in Washington.
As such, he has created a clinical environment that stresses high quality care along with patient participation and comfort. He and his colleagues pride themselves on exploring all options in their efforts to resolve a patient’s foot and ankle problem. His goal is to provide the best clinical and surgical care possible in a medical environment that patients enjoy coming to. He wants each patient to feel at ease participating in their own care.
Ankle & Foot of Edmonds, a partner practice of Edmonds Orthopedic Center, has provided podiatry services to the community for over twenty years. Co-located with Edmonds Orthopedic Center’s main clinic, it provides care for the foot and ankle, including expertise in orthotics, diabetic foot care, and wound management.
At the start of his academic career, Dr. Wardle graduated with his Bachelor of SCience degree from Boise State University. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Furthering his training, he performed his residency in podiatry with the Swedish Podiatric Surgery Residency Program.
Extensively trained in reconstructive and elective surgery, the doctor is board-certified through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). The ABFAS strives to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by advancing the art and science of foot and ankle surgery.
Named one of Seattle’s Top Physicians by Seattle Magazine in 2007, and one of America’s Top Podiatrists by the Consumers’ Research Council of America in 2017, Dr. Wardle is committed to excellence in healthcare delivery and serves on a number of committees dedicated to quality assurance at the hospital level.
