How long is a tummy tuck surgery?
Hi! The duration of tummy tuck surgery varies among patients, but the average procedure takes approximately 3 hours, especially if combined with liposuction. Larger tummy tucks can take up to 4.5 hours, depending on the amount of skin and fat being removed. The operating times include the time it takes to administer anesthesia at the beginning of the surgery and to wake up from anesthesia at the end of the procedure.
