Back in 1996, Dr. McAdoo graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from A.T. Still University–Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation, he gained medical training during his four-year residency at Summa Western Reserve Hospital in Ohio. He then went on to complete a fellowship in hand surgery from 2001 until 2002.

Priding himself on results and quality patient experience, the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). The AOBS is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DOs) who specialize in the use of surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease (surgeons).

A Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (FACOS), Dr. McAdoo is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association.
