A trusted psychiatrist, Dr. Farooqi is affiliated with Crozer Health Psychiatry Collaboratives & Crisis Center at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. He specializes in behavioral health, crisis services, psychiatric medication management, and psychotherapy.

A native of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Farooqi earned his medical degree from the King Abdulaziz University College of Medicine in 1989. After relocating to the United States, he went on to complete his residency in psychiatry at Allegheny University Hospitals.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Among his other roles, Dr. Farooqi has admitting privileges at Springfield Hospital and Taylor Hospital.
