Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Sarah A. Perry, who serves patients in Wilmington, Delaware. 

Specializing in general pediatrics and pediatric critical care, Dr. Perry is a caring pediatrician who can be found on staff at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware.

Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware is a pediatric hospital located in Wilmington, Delaware. It is controlled by the Nemours Foundation, a non-profit organization created by philanthropist Alfred I. du Pont in 1936 and dedicated to improving the health of children.

A 2005 graduate of Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Dr. Perry went on to further her training. She performed her internship, residency in pediatrics, and fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware.

Providing care to patients of all ages, she is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement. 

Licensed to practice medicine in the states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey, Dr. Perry is affiliated with Cooper University Hospital.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
