Dr. Choksi is board-certified in both internal medicine and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Dr. Choksi earned his medical degree from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in Mumbai, India. He then went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, followed by his fellowship in medical oncology at the same hospital. He also completed an additional fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
