The Horizon Ridge Henderson Treatment Center offers medical oncology and hematology services to patients with cancer and blood disorders in Southern Nevada. It also works closely with other locations to offer seamless flow of care for those requiring breast surgery and radiation treatment. The Treatment Center provides cancer genetic counseling services for those patients who have a family history and for those who might want to receive a cancer genetic risk assessment.
Providing world-class cancer care in a supportive and caring environment, Dr. Ghani has access to an expansive database of more than 170 clinical trials that the practice participates in annually. Prior to joining Comprehensive, he was an oncologist at Cancer & Blood Specialists of Nevada.
A 1990 graduate of Dow University of Health Sciences in Pakistan, Dr. Ghani decided to relocate to the United States in order to further his education. He performed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in hematology-oncology at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in New York City, New York, where he served as Chief Administrative Fellow. He also participated in a one-year fellowship with the Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Immunotherapy (BMT-CI) Program at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute.
Staying up-to-date with the latest ways to keep patients healthy and inspired, the doctor is board-certified in medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
