70 West Canyon Crest Road Alpine UT, 84004About
Dr. Garon Larsen, general dentist, has spent nearly two decades serving the people of North Utah County in private practice. He was mentored by Dr. Gary Hayes, his father-in-law and an outstanding general dentist trained at USC, where he worked in an environment similar to a residency with the opportunity to learn from over 40 years of dental experience. Dr. Larsen took over the practice and continued to care for the older patients of the practice, giving him unique experience in complex, advanced dentistry for mature patients as well as new advancements and cutting-edge technology for younger generations. Patients come from all over to see Dr. Larsen—from St. George to Logan, from Idaho, Montana, and Alaska, from California to the east coast, even from China and Russia. “If you follow my recommendations, I can tell you exactly what your teeth will look like 20 years from now…they will look great, you will have a beautiful smile and you will be able to enjoy eating your favorite foods!” Dr. Larsen says. Dr. Larsen is a humanitarian. He has worked with a select group of some of the best dentists and surgeons in the U.S. in humanitarian clinics in Central America. He gives nearly a hundred hours of volunteer service every year in various local and international efforts. The highlight of his career is being able to provide dental services to those who could never receive it otherwise. He travels to Central America yearly to provide dental services and other humanitarian efforts. He has worked with local volunteer clinics to donate his services. He and his family started a local event in Alpine 15 years ago (Alpine Living Nativity) and through this event have raised nearly $200,000 which has been donated to various local and international charities. All of these opportunities have given Dr. Larsen a fulfilling life and career.

Can brushing my teeth with salt whiten my teeth?
The grittiness of the salt could wear away at your enamel very quickly. Not to mention- I'd imagine the taste is horrible. I'd recommend trying professional whitening, and if that still does not give you the results you'd like- ask your dentist about doing crowns or veneers on the teeth you see when you smile.
