Endodontics is the dental specialty concerned with the study and treatment of the dental pulp. An endodontist is a dentist who specializes in treatment to help save teeth. They deal with problems with the inside of the tooth: the pulp, which is made up of nerves, blood vessels, and other soft tissues. One of the most common procedures these dental professionals perform is root canal treatment, which involves removing the infected pulp of a tooth and sealing it up.
Outside of the office, Dr. O’Banion enjoys bicycle racing, cycling, running, skiing, drawing, painting, traveling, and playing chess. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and three children. The couple enjoy watching their children in swim meets and school events.
