Get to know Family Physician Dr. Jose N. Prieto, who serves patients in Downey, California.

Dr. Prieto is an experienced family physician who specializes in caring for people of all ages, at all stages of life. He is affiliated with PIH Health Downey Hospital.

PIH Health Downey Hospital is a non-profit community-based hospital located in Downey, California. A 1960 graduate of the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, Dr. Prieto relocated to the United States to further his training. Once there, he served his residency in family medicine at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

With an unwavering commitment to his speciality, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
