Specializing in pain management, Dr. Henriquez is the Founder & Director of Family Spine and Pain Care Institute with offices in Venice and North Port, Florida. He believes in providing holistic and multidisciplinary treatments all while giving each patient the utmost respect, integrity, and compassion. He is also well versed in the use of fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance to perform many spine and joint procedures such as epidurals, facet blocks, spinal cord stimulators, kyphoplasty for vertebral fractures, nerve blocks, migraine headaches, joint injections, and much more.
The doctor is very passionate about the new innovative field of regenerative medicine and has dedicated much of his time to learning and researching the best options out there for his patients. “The one thing missing in the medical field today is being able to take the time to listen and understand our patients. It is through this process where we can formulate a comprehensive plan to produce the best possible outcomes” he stated.
Among his professional experience, Dr. Henriquez holds hospital privileges at Venice Bayfront Hospital, Venice and Sarasota Memorial Hospital. His dedication in medicine is to provide humble and knowledgeable healthcare, to become an advocate to his patients, and to continue his passion for pain relief.
Passionate for providing exceptional care, he continually learns and utilizes the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques that can improve the lives of acute and chronic pain patients. That being said, he remains a member of the Sarasota County Medical Society, the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the Florida Society of Anesthesiology, and the Florida Medical Association.
Following the completion of his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in 2009, Dr. Henriquez went on to complete his internship in surgery, his residency in anesthesiology, and his fellowship in pain management at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Before long, he became board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, board-certified in pain medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine. The mission of the American Board of Anesthesiology is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology, while the mission of the American Board of Pain Medicine is to improve the quality of pain medicine.
