Based on medical conditions and fertility treatment goals, a specific and individualized protocol for each patient is designed.

Recognized as a world expert in the field of infertility, especially in the treatment of patients with endometriosis and diminished ovarian reserve, Dr. Yelian has patients from all around the globe who come to see him at Life IVF Center.

Back in the early days of his academic career, he earned his medical degree, completed his training in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as obtained his master’s degree from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in China. He then came to the United States a year later and worked with Dr. W. Richard Dukelow at the Endocrine Research Center at Michigan State University. He earned his Doctorate degree in Reproductive Endocrinology and Embryology in 1991. Subsequently, he joined the IVF program as a postdoctoral fellow and worked as an embryologist at Wayne State University.

In 1993, Dr. Yelian performed the first intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) case in the state of Michigan. During this period, he studied embryo implantation for many years working with Dr. Randy Armant, as well as published many papers in the field of embryo implantation and human reproduction. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Wayne State University in 1993.

He gained extensive experience treating patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, and premature ovarian failure.

In 2009, he took sabbatical leave to work at Kato Ladies Clinic in Japan, where he mastered the new techniques and skills of natural cycle IVF and minimal stimulation IVF. A year later, he founded Life IVF Center, which has become a premier fertility center in Southern California.
