Dr. Perry is a board-certified pediatrician whose areas of expertise include wellness, child development, immunizations, and teaching resident physicians in training. She is in practice with the Family Medicine Center at Yuma Regional Medical Center.

For more than 30 years, Dr. Perry has been helping Yuma kids heal, grow, and thrive. A firm believer in listening, patient stories help her arrive at important diagnoses and improve her patients’ health.

Yuma Regional Medical Center is a 406-bed, not-for-profit hospital staffed by 2,400 employees, over 400 medical practitioners, and hundreds of volunteers who are dedicated to serving the residents and visitors of Yuma, Arizona and the surrounding area. The mission of the hospital “is to improve the health and well-being of individuals, families and the communities we serve through excellence, innovation and prudent use of resources.”

A 1984 graduate of The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, Dr. Perry went on to further her training. She performed her residency in pediatrics at the same institution in 1987, and now mentors resident physicians in training in the YRMC Family & Community Medicine residency.

Striving to raise successful, productive members of society, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

In her free time, Dr. Perry designs costumes for the Yuma Community Theater and serves on its Board. She also builds furniture and plays World of Warcraft.
