A renowned anesthesiologist, Dr. Kong is affiliated with Stanford Health Care, practicing conventional pain management at the Stanford Systems Neuroscience and Pain Lab, and serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine. Before embarking on her professional journey, she received her medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine in 2004, and completed her internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2005. She then returned to Stanford University, completing her residency in anesthesiology, as well as her fellowship in pain management in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in anesthesiology and pain medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). Her research focuses on the use of electro-acupuncture for the treatment of chronic low back pain.
