This was followed by a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Cleveland Clinic in 1986, a residency in anesthesiology at Metrohealth Medical Center in 1991, and a residency in pain medicine/anesthesiology at Metrohealth Medical Center in 1992.
Following his education, the doctor became board-certified in both pain medicine and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, whose mission is to advance the practice of anesthesiology.
Alongside his clinical role at University Hospitals, Dr. Tabbaa serves as an Investigator at Cleveland FES Center and as an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University.
