Get to know Family Physician Dr. Brett Blaser, who serves patients throughout the State of Utah.

Dr. Blaser is a skilled family medicine practitioner with experience treating patients of all ages. 

Utah-based, he is currently serving as a medical director for a hospice group, a post-acute/long-term care facility, as well as at an addiction recovery center. He is also affiliated with several local hospitals, including McKay-Dee Hospital and Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful (where he is on the Board of Trustees).

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Blaser completed his undergraduate degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology at Brigham Young University. He then attended medical school at Midwestern University – Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.

After completing a residency in family medicine at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Blaser spent a year abroad treating patients in New Zealand. 

Board-certified in family medicine, he is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians (DOs) who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body (family physicians).

On a professional level, Dr. Blaser is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
