With over 43 years of experience in his field, Dr. Miller Jr. practices as a thoracic surgeon with Piedmont Heart Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also affiliated with Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. 

Throughout his extensive career, he has performed thousands of surgeries, specializing in surgical interventions for esophageal cancer, lung cancer, hyperhidrosis, and more. In 2017, he received the Emory Gold Medal, which is the highest alumni honor.
