Dr. Hibshman is a caring and compassionate obstetrician-gynecologist who joined Physicians for Women in Alexandria, Virginia in 2007 after several years of private practice experience in Washington, D.C.
Professionally, she enjoys all aspects of OB/GYN. She particularly loves working with young patients to ensure that their first gynecological experience is a good one. She believes in educating her patients to set them up to make healthy life choices.
Treating the whole woman, Dr. Hibshman is currently working with Drs. McKnight and Salgado in offering some aesthetic services, including Botox, dermal fillers, Kybella, and a few Co2 laser procedures. She feels that adding cosmetic procedures and treatments will aid in helping women look and feel their best.
Before embarking on her professional journey, Dr. Hibshman graduated with her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She then went on to complete her residency at the University of Maryland and the George Washington University Hospital.
Following her education, she attained board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), Dr. Hibshman is currently a regional speaker for Warner-Chilcott, a physician at The GW Medical Faculty Associates, and on staff at Inova Alexandria Hospital.
