Get to know Orthodontist Dr. Sheldon Waltuch, who serves patients in Edison, New Jersey.

An exceptional orthodontist, Dr. Waltuch serves the patients of Edison and the surrounding New Jersey communities. His practice, Dr. Waltuch’s Orthodontic Team, is dedicated to ensuring that patients are fully informed and involved in their orthodontic care. They make sure patients understand their treatment options and help them decide which one meets their needs.

“Being an orthodontist and helping to make the people in my community excited to show off their smile has been incredibly rewarding. I am sensitive to the needs and concerns of all my patients and hope to create a warm, secure environment where they can feel comfortable having their orthodontic goals met” expressed the doctor.

In regards to his education, Dr. Waltuch earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at Tufts University, before furthering his education at Washington University, where he graduated with a Master of Science degree, and Orthodontic Specialty Certificate. He embraces continuing education in order to keep up with the latest technology and treatment options and is proud to be a lifelong student of orthodontics.

In order to stay up to date in his field, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association, and is a professional member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the New Jersey Association of Orthodontists.

Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. Orthodontists are responsible for identifying problems with the positioning of a patient’s teeth and with their oral development. They utilize the most advanced procedures and equipment available to ensure that every patient achieves a healthy and beautiful smile.

During his time in the field, Dr. Waltuch has treated countless patients. His private practice has been awarded and recognized as “One of the Best in New Jersey” by New Jersey Magazine.
