An experienced cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Brizzio sees patients at the Cleveland Clinic Health and Wellness Center, Vero Beach in Florida. Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Brizzio earned his medical degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires and his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Universidad del Salvador in Argentina. He completed residencies in general surgery and cardiac and vascular surgery at Complejo Medico Churruca-Visca and Instituto Sacre-Coeur, respectively. After relocating to the United States, he completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Cleveland Clinic.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, he served as an attending cardiac surgeon at The Valley-Columbia Heart Center in New Jersey and Clinical Assistant professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Icahn School of Medicine in New York. He is an Associate Fellow in the American College of Cardiology and a member of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, among other organizations.
