Dr. Lahti is an experienced interventional cardiologist with a wealth of expertise in heart catheterization and minimally invasive heart care. She is based at Ascension Medical Group Sacred Heart, situated in the beautiful city of Miramar Beach, Florida, located between Destin and Sandestin. She is a caring and compassionate physician who places great importance on listening to her patients and understanding their individual health concerns.
At Ascension, she works with a team of multidisciplinary cardiologists to develop personalized care plans for her patients. Finally, she completed her fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in 2006.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards of care in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Prior to joining Ascension, Dr. Lahti spent 27 years serving in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Colonel. Her distinguished military career has given her invaluable experience and expertise in treating heart conditions in high-stress environments.
