Get to know General & Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Armin K. Salimi, who serves patients in College Park, Maryland.

Dr. Salimi is a general & cosmetic dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Expert Smiles – an affordable dental office in College Park, conveniently located near to the University of Maryland. Expert Smiles is a team with several years of experience in family, general, cosmetic, and emergency dentistry. They make every effort to bring affordable dentistry to families in the area and do so using state-of-the-art dentistry and latest technologies in dental equipment. 

Dr. Salimi earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland, followed by his master’s degree in Biotechnology from John Hopkins University. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Salimi served as oral surgery clerk in the emergency clinic of the University of Maryland. While he was a student, he remained involved in serving the community as a volunteer in the emergency department of Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. 

Dr. Salimi is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Maryland Dental Association. He regularly attends major dental conferences to keep abreast of the latest procedures, materials, and technologies that he can apply to his practice. In his spare time, Dr. Salimi enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as swimming. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a general & cosmetic dentist, Dr. Salimi has the skills needed to complete an array of commonly performed dental procedures that are simple or complex in nature.
