Throughout his academic career, Dr. Al Hadidi earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Aleppo in Syria, where he was in the top 5% of his class. He followed this up with a surgical externship at the University of Jordan in Amman. 

After relocating to the United States, he completed his internship in internal medicine at Ascension Macomb Hospital (previously St. John Macomb), and finished his residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University. Finally, he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology with the University of Texas Health Science Center and MD Anderson Cancer Institute.
