Get to know Family Physician Dr. Erik Hiester, who serves patients in Naples, Florida.

A seasoned family physician, Dr. Hiester is affiliated with NCH Physician Group - Vanderbilt Beach Concierge Medicine, seeing patients in Naples, Florida. He has over 19 years of experience taking care of patients with dedication, compassion, and the highest degree of medical excellence.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Hiester earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in family medicine at the United Health Service Hospital at Wilson Memorial Hospital, and his fellowship in interventional pain management at Emory Medical School. He also has a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami, and worked as an engineer designing endovascular grafts prior to entering medical school.

An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

With a passion for teaching, he currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Central Florida Medical School and Nova Southeastern Osteopathic Medical School, and previously held the same teaching position at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
