Get to know Family Physician Dr. Michael Patin, who serves patients in New York, New York.

A seasoned family physician based in New York City, Dr. Patin is Medical Director at Bay Parkway Physicians, which is a multi-specialty practice that features locations in both Brooklyn and Queens. He brings over 30 years of experience to his work, providing the kind of wisdom and insight that is built through years of close relationships with patients. His expertise, coupled with the flexibility his practice provides, allows him to care for a variety of patients with different individual needs.

In regards to his educational background, he earned his medical degree from the Crimean State Medical University in Ukraine in 1978. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his internship and residency in family medicine at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in 1995.

An active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor.
