Get to know Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Jeffrey A. Clingman, who serves patients throughout the State of New Hampshire.

Dr. Clingman is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Advanced Orthopedics, serving patients in Barrington, Gilford, and other New Hampshire Seacoast communities. 

Specializing in hand surgery, microsurgery, and trauma, he is also affiliated with Frisbie Memorial Hospital, Concord Hospital – Laconia, and Concord Hospital – Franklin.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Clingman graduated with highest distinction from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1985, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery in 1990. He then went on to complete a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at Duke University Hospital in 1991.

Dedicated to excellence, the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.

Orthopedic surgery is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and non-surgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, spine diseases, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.
