“Medicine gives me the opportunity to work with people and help others using a team-based approach. My career allows me to interact with a variety of personalities and gives me that sense of accomplishment and purpose when you cure their ailments. I’m definitely a “”fixer”” personality type. When she is not seeing patients in the office, she enjoys performing a variety of gynecologic surgical procedures, especially minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after she completed her undergraduate education at Mayaguez Campus, and earned her medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. After relocating to the United States, she completed her internship and residency at the Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists , she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
