Board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Gillen, is currently serving as part of the OBGYN hospitalist team at OB Hospitalist Group in Greenville, Texas. The OB Hospitalist Group has recently partnered with Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital to launch a full-time, Type A OB emergency department.
Dr. Gillen graduated with his medical degree in 2007 from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He then completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency in Michigan at Providence Hospital and Medical Centers (2007 – 2011). Prior to medical school, Dr. Gillen completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Austin College in Austin, Texas (1993).
Subsequent to his training, the doctor attained board-certification in obstetrics and gynecology with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
