Dr. Strachan earned his medical degree from the Superior Institute of Science in Havana, Cuba and trained at the Cuba General Calixto Garcia Hospital also in Cuba. He completed his residency at Waterbury Hospital Health Center, a 357 bed hospital affiliated with Yale University. He gained a fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital, the largest academic medical center on Long Island with 603 beds for patient care.
Dr. Strachan is certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery and holds a CT State Medical License.
