Thereafter, she went on to obtain her medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine, followed by an internship in the Department of Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle. She also completed a residency in Urology at the University of Washington, during which she dedicated a significant amount of time to both clinical and basic research in the areas of erectile dysfunction and infertility.
