Inspired by his father, who practiced family medicine in their New Jersey home, Dr. Addiego’s goal is to touch the lives of each of his patients and the community. In regards to his academic career, he earned his Medical Degree from Jefferson Medical College, now the Sidney Kimmel Medical College, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1987. He then went on to complete his internship at Cooper Hospital and his residency in ophthalmology at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, followed by his fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Before long, Dr. Addiego became board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
