Get to know Family Physician Dr. Marisha Chilcott, who serves patients throughout the State of California.

Dr. Chilcott is a board-certified family physician who has found her passion in medical aesthetics. She still practices medicine by serving as the primary care doctor for three homes of developmentally delayed adults and occasionally working as a hospitalist at Petaluma Valley Hospital. However, she spends most of her time helping her clients feel better about themselves by improving their physical appearance.

In the early days of her professional career, she worked in private family practice with her father-in-law, Dr. F. Scott Chilcott, until he retired in 2013. She established Morpheus Medical Aesthetics in 2009, while still primarily practicing geriatrics. In 2014, she shifted her full focus to helping her clients achieve maximum health and vitality through aesthetic procedures and coaching.

A graduate of UC Berkeley, where she earned a BA in Mathematics, Dr. Chilcott worked in consulting and software product development for public utilities before going back to school and earning her medical degree from the UC Davis School of Medicine. She completed her residency in family medicine at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, where she worked as an ER physician for six years.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

With a passion for teaching, she enjoys training physicians and nurses to perform cosmetic injections at her office in Santa Rosa and speaking at conferences on emerging technologies and techniques.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.

In her free time, Dr. Chilcott loves to kite board, mountain bike, and spend time with loved ones.
