In regards to education, Dr. Abdelnaby earned her Medical Degree from Howard University College of Medicine in 2001. She went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Howard University Hospital in 2006 and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery in 2007.
To stay up to date in her field, Dr. Abdelnaby maintains a professional membership with the American College of Surgeons, the American Association of Women Surgeons, the American Medical Association, Physicians for Peace, and the North American Society for the Study of Personality Disorders, among other professional organizations.
