The Medical College of Wisconsin is a private medical school and graduate school of sciences headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Formerly affiliated with Marquette University, it has operated as an independent institution since 1967. It has two additional campuses, one in Green Bay and one in Wausau.
In 2011, Dr. Kaura earned his medical degree from Armed Forces Medical College in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He then attended Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Nashik, India,where he received a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery. He also completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. He received the Best Resident Award from Monmouth Medical Center.
The doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine – a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. Additionally, he is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and completed a Stroke Training Program from the National Institutes of Health.
