She is well versed in all aspects of podiatric surgery including procedures to address biomechanical and structural deformities, heel pain, nerve entrapment, foot and ankle arthralgia, skin and nail conditions, congenital deformities, and trauma-related injuries.
Specializing in complex revision reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, she has successfully reconstructed multiple ankle fractures and has repaired numerous Achilles ruptures. She has repaired many other fractures of the foot and ankle, including calcaneal fractures. She also specializes in adult and flat foot reconstruction and bunionectomy.
With offices in Chandler and Phoenix, Arizona, Ocotillo Foot & Ankle is a comprehensive podiatric center equipped to handle various podiatric needs such as ankle sprains, bunions, flat feet, hammertoes, diabetic feet, heel spurs, corns, and athlete’s foot, among others. A highly educated physician, Dr. Ghandhari holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley and a Master of Arts degree in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Midwestern University and completed her surgical training with the New Mexico VA Healthcare System.
She has also completed additional trauma-focused training at the Kaiser Foundation North Valley Trauma Hospitals, and has received additional certifications in arthroscopic techniques. Her state-of-the-art training provides patients with greater surgical options, including diabetic limb salvage and Charcot reconstruction, minimally invasive techniques, and specialized skin and bone grafting.
Following her training, the doctor attained board certification in both foot surgery & reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, whose purpose is to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by the advancement of the art and science of podiatric surgery.
A Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Ghandhari is an active member and Secretary of the Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Association (2018-present).
