Prior to his current endeavors, he served with the Georgia Nasal & Sinus Institute in Savannah GA, and as an Adjunct Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of North Carolina.

Dr. Kuhn received his medical degree in 1966 from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He then pursued his internship year at the University Hospital & Clinics (1967), followed by his general surgery residency at St Luke’s Hospital (1968). Dr. Kuhn completed his residencies in otolaryngology at Washington University Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Subsequent to his education, Dr. Kuhn attained board certification in otolaryngology through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. The American Board of Otolaryngology, located in Houston, Texas, is a non-profit corporation that has set the mission of ensuring professional standards with certificates and memberships, and has offered training in the fields of head neck surgery to professionals since 1924.

Otorhinolaryngology is a surgical subspecialty within medicine that deals with the surgical and medical management of conditions of the head and neck. Doctors who specialize in this area are called otorhinolaryngologists, otolaryngologists, head and neck surgeons, or ENT surgeons or physicians.
