Get to know General Dentist Dr. Tymon C. Totte, who serves patients in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan.

Dr. Totte is a general dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Great Expressions Dental Centers in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan. Dr. Totte has held several classes for Great Expressions dentists covering occlusion, TMD, and sleep apnea. Dr. Totte earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 1964. Dr. Totte is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Totte is the former Chairman of Fixed Prosthetics at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He is also a former Associate Professor of Temporomandibular Dysfunction and Occlusion at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dentistry.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. General dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral health regimens. 

In his spare time, Dr. Totte enjoys traveling with his lovely wife, boating, and golfing.
