Get to know Dentist Dr. Claudia Patch, who serves patients in Woodstock, New York.

Dr. Patch is the owner and visionary behind Woodstock General & Implant Dentistry in Woodstock, New York. She feels women have both compassion and tenderness, a perfect match for dentistry. 

Possessing exceptional talent and a penchant for innovation, Dr. Patch significantly enhances the lives of her patients through transformative dentistry procedures. She leads the Prettau® Implant bridge team, performing the restorative aspects of the protocol for Prettau® zirconia implant bridges.

Driven by a commitment to community, compassion, and the advocacy of optimal dental health, Dr. Patch and her team have established their practice with the singular aim of delivering top-notch care across all facets of dental health. Patients rely on their expertise for leading-edge procedures in cosmetic, restorative, and reconstructive dentistry.

Acknowledging the prevalent anxiety some patients experience with dental procedures, Dr. Patch addresses their fears and ensures a comfortable dental care experience. Her certification in administering conscious sedation via oral sedation allows patients to remain relaxed throughout their dental appointments.

Scholastically, Dr. Patch graduated Summa Cum Laude from Union College in Schenectady, New York in 2004, receiving many awards and appearing on the Dean’s List every semester. Five years later, in 2009, She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, once again receiving multiple awards, including the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Merit Award.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.  

A testimony to her longstanding success, Dr. Patch earned recognition in 2012 by being featured in the prestigious list of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry in Dental Products Report. Additionally, she has shared her expertise through lectures on implant dentistry and boasts multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Outside of the office, Dr. Patch enjoys spending quality time with her two children and husband, indulges in the art of jewelry making, embraces outdoor activities such as camping and hiking, as well as finds joy in traveling.
