Ernesto Gonzalez-Martinez, MD, graduated from the prestigious Dermatology Training Program at Harvard Medical School in 1972. Dr. Gonzalez-Martinez is one of the founders of Photochemotherapy, and a pioneer in establishing specialized services such as Mohs Surgery. His research and scholarly work has been dedicated to phototherapy, lasers and contact dermatitis. Beyond his academic and research initiatives, Dr. Gonzalez-Martinez has dedicated time to social matters regarding minorities and diversity issues at Harvard Medical School, and Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a recipient of numerous awards for his contributions to both institutions.
