After graduating from the University of Missouri Medical School in 1978, Dr. Robert J. Carney became a Board Certified Cardiologist who has been practicing with Tyler Cardiovascular Consultants since 1988. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology and has been instrumental in the development of new treatments for various cardiovascular diseases, serving as principal and sub-investigator for over 50 studies. He has also been the recipient of the Patient's Choice Award for three consecutive years (2008-2011).
