Sumer A. Phillips, MD, received her medical degree in 1984 from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating she completed her residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. In 1990, Dr. Phillips began a prosperous career at Cooper Clinic Department of Internal Medicine and in 2006 created the Luminessence Medi-Spa. Since then she also has become a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association American College of Physicians Arkansas Medical Society. She attributes her success to loving what she does.
